We are strong
A day can seem long or seem so short, depending on things we do
Trials we face, can feel like court, as if a jury watches us go through
Our feelings may feel fragile, like a delicate spider web strand
Hanging inside with intricate thoughts, as our ears hear a distant band
Wishing to sit in solitude and listen to the music play
To capture the precious time, granted to us with this day
Music can rescue anyone when incidents go wrong
Lifting hearts, as our mind becomes master, carrying a song
One that carries a reminder of something we must know
Just as so many years, it took for surrounding trees to grow
They grew through all weather and harsh storms just like a war
We stand so little below them, but we are so strong in our core
