We Are Not Treated Like Designers

Plaid pillowcases, paisley sheets, polka dotted comforter, The brand name designers can throw this together And everyone oohs and ah’s and acts like They have never before seen anything this marvelous And never will again. When we try to do it, People laugh. Behind our backs After they leave Unless they are Relatives… They laugh Immediately Loudly and rudely.

Ha, ha... Kind of like 'modern art,' in a way: When 'they' do it, gullible spectators gawk; when 'we' do it, they let us have it. LOL. I LIKE this poem! :) gw

I always think it is hilarous that if a certain"designer" does it, no matter how squirrel-ridiculous it is, everyone pretends to "LOVE" it.
