We Are Men

We are men

Beat a woman you are said to
be a monster
After all they are the one who
start the fight
Beat me!,beat me !and telling
us we are not men enough.
Raise your voice against her
and you are pronounced a
domestic dictator
Cry a little you are labelled a
weakling
Love her too much hanzi
"wakadyisa"
Dogs have become a name we
wear everyday
We are also humans we make
mistakes
Take it easy on us

We are men, we are human
Treat us like aliens and we
behave as such
Treat us right and will treat you
better
Give us love and will pay you
back with affection
We are men all we want its a
pinch of appreciation
Share hope with us not only
our beds

We are men, we are also
human
You are becoming good at
counting our mistakes
Watering down everything that
we stand for
All we hope for is our side of
the story to be told someday
Like you we also have our good
days and bad days
Dont except us to be happy all
the time
We are men , we are human
too
