We Are He Who We Seek
Simply by applying the brakes on thought,
our attention poised in the vibrant void,
we are no longer by fear forms decoyed
entwined with existence, to be self-taught.
Vicarious knowing reduced to naught,
we rest even the wisdom of Pink Floyd,
so vaporised self not by ego toyed,
we reclaim inner light, which we forgot.
We ourselves are the light, which we did seek
but had imposed on awareness, a veil,
in pursuit of desire mirroring fear,
which now that we have stopped energy leak,
enables us an earth to hoist love's sail,
whereupon we feel God's presence draw near.
