The cosmic egg, splits into two
Male-female polarities new
Beginning game of hide and seek
Esoteric truth, known to few
Each half incomplete, feeling weak
Dips into love, it’s hungry beak
Union manifests heightened joy
Fleeting due to energy leak
Body both boon and bane decoy
When heart’s pure, free from lust alloy
We entwine with God, who in-dwells
Go there now hermit, don’t be coy
Conscience speaks, hark to its love bells
Love’s the balm, that all cravings quells
Heart’s where desires begin and end
Creating both heavens and hells
Time’s now that will to God we bend
It’s the only way to ascend
Becoming again, who we are
There are no goalposts to defend
God’s here within, not somewhere far
Give up needless strife, cease to spar
Reclaim now, soul’s luminescence
By cleansing heart of ego’s tar
