We Are Going On a Nanny Boat

We are going on a nanny boat, a nanny boat, a nanny boat. We are going to be a faerie float, a faerie float, a faerie float. I smile, loving it that my four-year-old grandchild has discovered Poetry in her purest form. We are smiling at the sun today, the sun today, the sun today, We are laughing at the stars this way, the stars this way, the stars this way! Loud and proud, he sings, at the top of his lungs, praising the day. Nothing as wonderful as sharing a spring day with a grandson who loves life! He sings even more loudly now, which I had not thought possible. Frogs and dogs, hogs and frogs, blogs and logs, frogs, blogs, dogs, and blogs and hogs… I am hoping he never loses his enthusiasm for rhyming. Singing a pure joy that he expresses quite well.

Thank you Denis; all I have to do is listen. I have ten grandchildren, and I play during the week with hundreds of other children, so I am "cheating" in many ways. So much material!

Thank you Patti; there is nothing like a minute or two with a four-year-old to teach you the importance of the world.

Hello Caren. A wonderful day we'll spent with your four year old grandson. This is a keeper. Children do and say things that are worth writing about. It was fun to read.
