We Are Crisp Green Vines

We are crisp green vines looping and curling
Beautifying the dark red brick buildings
Of universities, decorating churches

Gardners revel in our natural sharpness
Adorning planters, baskets and planters
Bringing verdant green plant to life

We are the ivy brigade
Prancing our purity and freshness
In spring and summer

We are the treasured, tradition-soaked ivy-covered vines of Wrigley Field (Home of the Chicago Cubs), first planted back in 1937. How could you forget, Caren?! LOL. I know: Baseball's not on your radar, eh?! LOL. Thanks, Gershon
