We Are Complete
We're nestled under a blanket;
watching blazing logs in the fire.
And a crescendo of sparks flares;
whenever bold breezes aspire.
A dark horizon spills shadows;
as a scarlet sun sinks from sight.
And embers bursting into flames;
confetti night with specks of light.
Snowflakes blanket the trees in white;
while twigs snap with a crackling sound.
And hands clasped in a warm embrace;
we watch branches bend to the ground.
A shooting star unzips the sky;
knowing nothing less would suffice.
And a magic moon gilds the clouds;
as light beams through crystals of ice.
Twinkling stars sprinkle ebony
with glitter at the sun's retreat.
And we seal our love with a kiss;
for together, we are complete.
