We Are At War

Stand your ground,
Let no one push you to the ground.
Somewhere in the sun
Is reserved for those with gun.
Let us not procrastinate,
For tomorrow may be too late.
Let it happen today
That which is slated for the next day.

Stand your ground, hear the trumpets sound,
Fear disappears where courage abound;
We are men of fate
And we have resolved to change our fate.
We are on a quest
To assuage out thirst,
To reclaim our lost future -
Of which we are no more sure.

We are youths on rampage!
Since the elders won't respect their age,
We'll maim and murder
Whoever stands on our way; father or mother
There are many ends to this race of life;
Whether by the gun or by the knife,
And we would rather die trying
Than die without fighting.

Only a deaf world blinds its eyes
To her youth's war cries.

Death happens to both young and old. One should not fear death...it's a price we must all pay someday. Thanks for reading.
