We Are All Together

i love too many things to love many more things. the futile advances of human relationships built on the battlegrounds of emotion and logic cause a generation that yearns for understanding while seeking knowledge and validation without reason. the endless treasons on our freedoms have caused us seasons of disbelief, and we are each remote masters of our own fanciful worlds; where pleasure is king and comfort is priority; where flesh and blood battle the unseen evils of human satisfaction. we are fractions of the creation bound to mortal temptation, and we are drowning in our overabundances. my grievances. first, forgetting the blessings in personal tribulation, then denying our curse to work, we've grown lazy and bitter and blind. our ancestors' beliefs; our fathers' misconceptions; our generations' rebellion; our childrens' misfortune.
