We Are All His People

Sunshine wakes me from my nightly slumber.
Daylight greets me in the form of lilies, roses, bluebells, and marigolds.
He has sent me butterflies, dragonflies, and hummingbirds today.
He has sent me cardinals, robins, wrens, and one lone blue jay.

Marvelous daybreak lingers around my cup of coffee, inspiring me.
I pick up a pen and write whatever comes into my head.
He has provided these thoughts.
My eye is turned toward two squirrels playing in the yard.
Squirrels and rabbits are here to remind us to have fun, to be whimsical.

Too many wonderful sights to mention, all provided by the omnipresent He.
I am thankful, and say a prayer for the world today, not only my own country.
He has made us all, after all – no matter what color, creed, or religion.
We are all His people. Rainbows, mountains, oceans, stars and sky shows us this.
