We Are

I got down on my knees and prayed.
I asked God can he and I talk?
God said my child what's on your mind.
I told God what I wanted to say might blow
his mind away.

So I asked him why he is allowing the turmoil in our nation to go on and on?
I told him quit frankly it is time for it to end.
I feel these people protesting need to stop.
I asked God what do you have to say?

I waited a few minutes and heard please go on.
So I asked him why he allows people to loot and burn down buildings, to threaten and hold traffic hostage?
To tear down history and to make the laws?

I am angry and mad, tired and frustrated with it all.
I no longer want to listen, nor I care anymore on what happens to anyone.
I was with them at the beginning but now
I am not.

God is your mind blown away yet?
I need to hear why when so many prayers are going up to you.
Why you just sit and do nothing?
You allow this to continue and it hurts so many lives.

God answered and said to me.
My child I am grieving along with you.
I see and hear everything.
Be patient and look within and you will see
whose to blame.

WE ARE THE ONES TO BLAME!!
