We All Go Through Transitions

We all go through transitions

We all go through transitions

With problems of our own

And life can be challenging
in so many different situations

But you have to keep in mind

That life is an uphill climb

And you have to remind yourself
that the clock is constantly ticking

But when the sun is all tucked in

And night time comes around

And everything starts to wind down

A quietness fills your room

To give you a chance to unwind

And clear out the things in your mind

And if you will listen
closely in this quiet time

And you are one of the fortunate ones

You just might hear the soft
sounds of sandaled feet
shuffling around in your room

And you may feel his pierced hands
as he begins to embrace you in his arms

Because the good Lord will
want his presence to be known

Just to remind you

That no matter what
you may be facing

That he has always been with you

From the very beginning of time

As he will be until the very end
