Waya Keeper and Teacher

Waya Keeper and Teacher May the keepers of the forest; Do the best they can. To keep the enemy at bay; And protect these sacred lands. May they remember; That strength is found in packs. That all are needed; In this difficult task. May they howl out a warning; With the call of the wild. That we must preserve our brethren; For every man and child. May their paws make many tracks; Through the valleys and the fields. Until the very day; That balance is instilled. May they teach us their medicines: Of survival and renewal. And remind us that man cannot; Eat money and drink fuel. Darlene Doll Smith
