Way Up In the Air

Away Up In The Air My nights are oh so lonely Now that you are gone I miss your smile...your touch I've no one to lean upon I gaze upon the Heavens Hoping to see you there The skies are dark and dreary But I know you're there somewhere So I send you tender kisses And say a little prayer That you are looking down at me From way up in the air Each morning when I wake I reach for you in vain Then I remember you're not here And I try not to complain I go about my daily chores But my thoughts are all of you And memories keep flooding back Of when our love was new So I send you tender kisses And say a little prayer That you are looking down at me From way up in the air Your voice lives and comforts me I hear it every day It's still on my answering machine I never erased it away I wish that I could call you So many things I'd like to say I'm thinking of you darling Hope my wishes don't go astray I'm sending you tender kisses And saying a little prayer That you are looking down at me From way up in the air I know that you're in Heaven And you are waiting there. Yes...I know that there's a Heaven And you are waiting for me there Copyright2011 Beatrice Boyle (All rights reserved)
