Way Out

As I walk the darkened corridors of my life

It is day time but I see no light.

I look into the darkened corners straining my eyes

Looking for the unexpected not wanting a surprise

Talking to myself trying not to shout

I must keep on walking looking for a way out

No exit sign's telling me where to go

How long will I walk in this darkness no one will
ever know.
