Waves Role

The awake awakened with wide eyes wide-opened.
Calls of the screaming sea, calling calls ceaselessly.
Pound-pounding ears attend, weakening abandon,
wend sea claps yonder, and then only beyond then,
toasting impacts extend hosting eyes to pretend.
Gestures the forgiving, bestirs the towering,
ceaseless battering and charging colliding send,
the onslaught incursion shape equal dispersion.
Sea cliffs under pressure free stiffed asunder sever,
cast in watery graves caused by tottery waves.
Assembling forethoughts resembling onslaughts,
the battered is scattered about,
and the shattered, splattering doubts.
New roles, the lesser deep as guardians o'er a wet scrapheap,
shorn from tempestuous holds ...
fragmented carnage neath ruling waves rolled.

Credit draws a bit of Whitman's style. Mahalo, Paula, and have a blessed day as well--fun is inferred. Aloha, William

Brilliant diction and rhymes, love the way you’ve used such descriptive wordplay throughout and depth of this poem is truly soul hitting! I love the flow too and how oceanic it is “ Sea cliffs under pressure free stiffed asunder sever” seamless alliterations and flow of thoughts! This is truly a very artistic poem! I enjoyed reading this

Abiding expressions, Ink Empress, I'm honored indeed! Incepted: a shoreline where a conch shell reverberated as I honed in (surfer as depicted) through a tunnel, envisioning my joy--literally--guiding my thoughts as gratification has now been extended--Cheers, my friend! Aloha, William
