Waves of Life

I now understand the reason of it all 
Why so many times I had to truly fall 
All the times I had to suffer through 
The real reason I always lost it was you 
Looking back at the past I see it lead to this future 
Amazed how far I've come what a long real adventure 
Forcing in escaped shallow breaths back then 
Back then that's how it had always been 
Now I breath in life with every breath 
No longer black and dreading my death 
For I truly live my life so thankfully 
Moments these days they fill so heavenly 
When the bright warming sun shines upon me 
The rain pours I dance as I swim in the sea 
So many waves I've overcome to arrive right at your side 
The life you bring to me and the love I feel from you I can't hide 
When I look into those mysterious cute eyes so beautiful 
I see raging waves so mesmerizing a view so wonderful 
Those waves have swept me off my feet into your arms 
We keep each other chained with the others charms 
The way you smile and laugh I so much cherish 
The way you read my words until the very finish 
How you feel the things that I write 
It makes you glow with this light 
It grows so bright I feel it shine out the darkness 
When it comes to loving you I'm ever so helpless 
For you I'm always caring about how you are 
I still feel you like you're here and not so far 
When we connect I feel you beside me 
Truly happy and so at peace as I can be
