Waves of Life
The waves of the sea
are like the days of my life,
Every wind that blows
is like my untimely manner.
The sun that shines
down from above so warm,
Is like the son Jesus Christ
who died for me.
The calm that comes
as quiet as a whisper upon,
The sea is like the blood
of the lamb that covers me.
Your mercy surrounds me
and my sea is calm,
I am safe! The son is shining
within and without.
The sea of forgetfulness
has faded away and my
sins are gone...
In thee O LORD I have prevailed.
