Waves

Waves

The new day was dawning

When I opened my eyes

The stars had been covered

By the Clouds passing by

A whisper of waves rolling along the seashore

I spotted them when I opened the door

They tried to gently pass on by

They were caught in the act

By a rumble in the sky

They were gone, as fast as they came

They’ll reappear to finish their game

They’ll roll and play gently in the sea

As long as I am quiet, they won’t hear me

very cute....chuckled as I envisioned a game of 'red light green light' between you and the wave...

Liked this one immensely, great imagery and for some reason, slightly haunting :) "Write on good poet." -TimB

Thank you and your comment makes me smile for some reason I think it's the 'slightly haunting?'
