Waves
Waves, I crave.
Not waves of life,
but the sea.
Still, jumped
Into the sea
without
a life jacket;
me - crazy.
Bobbing along
in the sea
seizing the day
like a raft of otters,
just relaxing
and looking
into God’s blue eyes
or gray, given
the weather.
Into the sea
without,
but I knew
right away
to climb the ladder,
“hey…
I need a jacket!
Not nuts!
It’s deep and dark…”
How many sink?
I don’t know
what’s under my feet.
