waves

waves crash on the rocks
repeating their splash and spray
each in its own way

life runs in cycles
unending iterations
details change each time
can we shape the ocean tide
or just watch and take the ride

I like your thought-provoking poem, David. It makes me consider the fact that there is little we can do about the events that will take place in our life on any given day. What may be the deciding factor in how our life goes or the impact it may have on others is the way we react to the events of the day. "As a man thinketh, so is he", we must be careful what we allow our minds to think about because we are actively manifesting what we think about the most. Smiles ~ Blessings Bill

life certainly can be a roller coaster ride - we are cresting another wave with hubby's cancer returning again but soon the treatment will be over and we will be home and we are back to calmer waters again:-) hugs Jan xx
