What’re the whales waiting for?

Whistling winter, withering white
Wondrous world who will win?
Weapons, wars, wars and wars
Wicked, wrinkled women
Wish to wound wings
Wasting, wasting and wasting
Water, whales, water and water
Wishing, washing, who’re wise?
Whales watch waves and wrecks
