Natasha L Scragg Poet Rhyme

Waterfall

Cascading from the hilltops.
Pooling by the trees.
Finding paths between the rocky peaks.
Shimmering back to the sun its beams.

A powerful, constant feature.
Uninterrupted in flow.
Naturalists will search and discover
Where the water goes.

Majestic, mighty and loud.
Yet somehow it feels so peaceful.
A waterfall glorifies its surroundings.
It brings pleasure to many people.

When outdoors, do head towards
That rushing, gushing sound.
Take it in. Appreciate it
While we still walk the ground.
