Water, water everywhere,
Yet people don't think,
Tank. 

Water, water everywhere,
Yet people's thoughts stay,
Blank,

Water, water everywhere,
Yet people still sit on the ,
Bank.

Water, water everywhere,
Yet many people don't priority,
Rank.

Water, water everywhere,
Yet people wonder at so many feeling,
Dank.

Water, water everywhere,
Yet few people are buying rope by the,
Hank. 
 
Water, water everywhere,
Yet people wonder why so many hopes and dreams,
Sank, 
When we failed to make use of the water before it,
Stank.

David Smith February 18, 2023 at 1:15 PM it was born out of frustration, both at ignorance and greed, plus the growth of those who think money by itself will solve the problem. We all have to play our part. But we must keep trying to educate and poetry is one way as I believe it does make the reader and the writer think about life in a more meaningful way and anything that makes people care more is worth it in my book.
