Written after reading Irfana Ali Bhat's Poem "Reflection" I hope she enjoys this poem.

Her spirit is water I let it soak in Her words permeate My soul starts to sing Where has she come from With softness and power Creating new life Rivers and showers The banks can't hold her She'll go where she goes A creature of beauty Magical as she flows

Ooh I like this! Yeah baby! No insomnia here, but a good bit of beer, and time to read and write. Wealth.

Hi Richard, I read your beautiful poem on the featured page and just had to stop and comment. I'm suffering from a bit of insomnia tonight...can't think of a better way to spend my middle of the night awake time. Hugs to you, Rhonda

It is so sad that we share so much and it seems that some people need to focus on the differences. We are praying to the same God, he must be so dissapointed in us.

Yes,Richard ,it is same....we muslims believe in all prophets Moses,Jesus,David ,Jacob,Jonah ,Noah etc(Peace be upon them all)..the stories in Bible and Quran are mostly same with some miniature differences...

Is this the same as in the old Testiment when God asked Abraham to Sacrifice his Son and he provided a Ram after stopping Abraham from carrying out his instructions?

we celebrate two Eid's in a year...one is celebrated after fasting for one month from dawn to dusk... another is celebrated in commemoration of Abrahim's sacrifice of his son..on this day we sacrifice an animal and give it to poor and needy
