~watching You Fall~

I watched you slink lower into numbing coat, where warmth just boils away any residue of respite, saw how your smile developed MD, drooping like torn flesh, and no matter how often those three words nuzzled, you still held that shroud so tight; are you dying my twin? Your eyes seem to have found a place where nobody goes, somewhere stuck in a moment halfway between us, and silence mutes me with all the things unsaid while you wrap yourself in tainted conclusions.
