Watching Us Age

I'm watching you age
into wiser smiles, measured steps.
(Your lines look beautiful)

Gravity of life reshaped
our foolish expenses of energy
(Oh, the hurrying we did together)

wasted vanity of emotions.
I love our becoming...
more vast of vivid moments

(Our expanding normal bits)
gnarled with experiences.
