WATCHING FLICKERING FLAMES-TSF

WATCHING FLICKERING FLAMES-TSF ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
amber beacon flickers, offers comfort and hope, time roams. I watch flames leap candle takes me back in time to my home. I hear echoes, voices from past from those long since deceased. I smell mother, her scent wafting through time’s boundless retreat.

there's something about candlelight that returns the mind to events of significance. Seventy-five years ago, one stormy night, a country doctor cut out a boil on my arm in light of a lantern - he went deeep and I still have the scar.

Such a tender piece—love how the candle’s flicker carries you through sight, sound, and scent. The ending with your mother’s presence is especially moving.
