Watching

Snow
Has fallen
Glistening
Off the
Street lights
Dancing from my eyelashes
And
I am
Euphoric
In
This
Solitary
Moment
Where
I am freed
And
No one is watching
Or judging
I sing
Notes
Rising deep within my
Chest
And it rings
Through the air
carried
Over the trees
By the wind
So far it goes
And
it feels
as
if
time has slowed down now

and I can take relaxed breathes
now
and the tension
has
left my muscles now
just
because I Know
that
I've finally learned to love myself now.

Comfort
Sought in being myself
Even if I am by myself
Snow
Has fallen
Glistening
Off the
Street lights
Dancing from my eyelashes
And I am
Finally happy
now
