Watch the World Awaking

I'll sit by you at early morn
and watch the world awaking
dark clouds slumber in columns of sun
as the world begins awaking

the rain smells sweet at early dawn
as we watch the world awaking
breezes twine through blades of grass
and the world begins awaking

everything seems brushed with gold
when the world begins awaking
birds begin their songs anew
as we watch the world awaking

so sit with me in early light
to see the world awaking
feel the spirit of the earth
as our world begins awaking
