WATCH OUT LITTLE EARS ABOUT

My son, I love very much, so strict with me, No name or photo of my little gem, there be, My granddaughter, two years, January first, My pride, my love, heart to burst, But what I heard made me say hee, hee, hee. Christmas day we spent with the whole family, Our bundle of joy dressed so very creatively, An Elf in red, dressed by her mother, Dressed in red also was another, Her little cousin, only a year, looked a honey. The dogs allowed in enjoying fallen food on the floor, No begging allowed or out the door, Her mummy said, Dudley, don’t dare *hit All happy, laughed at her wit, And our two-year-old sponge, also laughed galore. Hearing all and talking well, ready to turn the page, Giggled and entered the conversation at this stage, Mummy says Dudley *hits, We all collapsed into fits Of laughter, a hilarious outburst at two years of age.

Opening the door for us to see a bit of your life with family! Cutely, kids, turn phrases over, and hilarity comes forth. Hugs, Jennifer ~ Kim

A day of fun , encouragement, and family, the way it should be. I needed that my friend. Jen, you sent to soup mails, but no message. I find out when that happens to me, I have forgotten to put a subject matter or title in the above box.

Hi Jennifer! This incident will indeed become part of your family lore to be repeated and laughed at for many years to come! Had a similar incident when our oldest was about two. He was in his high chair when I burned myself on the stove uttering "Oh,*hit!" From the corner came a little voice "Oh, *hit!" Great lesson in engaging my brain before opening my mouth! Loved this holiday fun! Sending you blessings and good health for 2025, dear friend!

Jennifer, your poem is really delightful. It beautifully captures the essence of family, sharing precious memories, pleasure, celebration, and the love and laughter of grandkids. I think the most wonderful parts of life are when kids listen and repeat everything, and when we laugh uncontrollably even when we shouldn't.
