Washing Machine

Something is wrong with the washing machine
It's supposed to save me time
The sound of it chugging and whirring away
Is simply quite divine

I'm not quite sure how it happened
The process need some refining
'Cos when the washer has finished it's job
I'm always left with the Ironing.

Perhaps I can be added to the list. Suggestion: wash and wear will do away with the ironing; I highly suggest it! :)

ha! so funny. it should do it all right? It's surprising that no one has thought of a way to improve ironing. where are those robots we saw on the Jetsons?

Agreed! As much washing as I do in a day it doesnt seem that I'm actually saving time. Well written, Nick!

Holy Cow...!! Look at all those washing machines for sale on the side of the screen!!! Maybe you need to upgrade!!! See if there is one that comes with a lady who'll do your ironing! Oh yeah!....

See, now look what you've started!!..I would read this poem in a zoo, even naked in a church pew! I would read about your washing machine anywhere, I would even do your ironing if you didn't care! ...Actually this is a "cute" lil ditty! (Thanks Susan Simpkins for the idea!) ha ha ha ha ha
