Washing Dishes

WASHING DISHES

Something satisfying about a greasy plate
From which a hungry kid of mine just ate
Or cups or glasses with coffee drunk late
With friends who are honest, good and straight.

Clean it make it bright - order out of mess -
She asks me to do the dishes - I say yes.
