Was It Something I Said
The thought lingers,
Was it something I said,
That led you astray,
sent you on your way,
lowered your selfesteem
or
was it the dream world
you wandered around in
looking for a special kind
of something...
Fantasies bouncing around
In your head
or
was it something I said
that drove you out
into the night
never to return.
