Was a Dolphin

Am sure I was a Dolphin In another life Drawn to water an its ways Free my body of downward pressure Free my spirit an soul of presence To move, 4 Th dimension Down side slide, the face of a curling wave To feel the currents pushing an pulling As you dive amongst the foam an froth Of another filling cave Peace and calm Fleeing fish an shifting sand Blues of Poseidon I reach ahead Coming for air Position to do it, again I hear “Tick’s” from brethren Distant calls from passing whales Sting of salt in my eyes Sprays of water in the winds But I can’t grow a fin Am as close as I can get I will not forget
