Wars and Rumors

Wars end, when the reporters stop writing, when the partisan heads stop talking. The frontline news petters out, less attention is paid to destruction. Images of smoldering battlefields, are reduced to brief and cryptic reports. Who won or lost is a question. never asked. It is imperative; very necessary, that we wage a new conflict somewhere else immediately, a momentum must be maintained. All wars end in confusion, most outcomes are politely ignored, until a more exciting one is contrived. The dead take no sides, they just slip away quietly together.

There is truth in this! Sensational is what the media is after and many times I turn off the set…enough is enough, doesn’t matter what side. More pleasing is peace in your neighborhood, not to ignore all outside things but to mind one’s own business and love those in your circle (not just friends and kin, strangers too.

Yes Kim, Jesus said it best. 'There will always be wars and rumors of wars," but what is most sickening is the corrupting influence of those in power who engineer and lobby conflicts for personal gain. The people are the ones that lose every time. Thanks, and Your words are wise, love those in our circle of life and pray for peace. cheers mate. E.
