Warriors
It's a battle waged for some wasted track of land
desires for power and control, supremacy.
Heroes rising to the call of God and country
does it truly speak for freedom?
This is a warrior, a brave soldier in the service
for right over wrong, for good over evil
for someone's hidden agenda.
The warrior fights, sweats and bleeds
and the battles rage on,
continue endlessly.
Always- there is another war,
another want or need unspoken
and the warrior
pays the price.
