Warning Signs
got this
spreading,
tingling,
numbing,
pulsating,
stabbing,
throbbing,
pain
that won’t take a
vacation,
that won’t give itself a
rest,
that won’t lighten
up &
i’m wondering
doc,
if this is a
warning sign
that i, as a
human,
just wasn’t built to
live beyond
30…
and yet we insist
as a fervently curious
technologically progressive
species,
that i should.
in this interim
between the biological &
the transhuman, between the
transhuman &
the enhanced version of
whatever might be left of
me if my dice are rolled
right,
i eagerly await your
diagnosis.
