Warmth Inside of Me

As I sat propped in bed
with a cup in hand enjoying
the warmth of my coffee
When I closed my eyes my
thoughts turned to you
The warmth of your smile
as it always makes me smile
The warmth of your voice
as you say I love you
The warmth of your kiss
for it is filled with passion
The warmth of your body
as we lay together be it in
slumber or amidst the twisting sheets
The mere thought of you
always brings a smile
You and your wildflowers
You are my scent of Spring
You are the warmth inside of me
