Warmth, Compassion, Affection

Where did I go wrong I have lost a friend I miss her now My heart needs to mend So lonely here on my own Feeling shame again Should I call her home She has a deep warmth to her embrace I still long to see her pretty face Dreaming of holding her close to me A little compassion from her is all I need I wish to rest my head on her shoulder Life without her is far colder Wish she could see these eyes and this feeling of pain A wounded heart just isn’t the same If I can I will hold her hand Please do not turn away I know not what else to say As I look into her eyes There will be no shame If I start to cry Please find our affection again Take a risk Give it time Surely my feelings for you shall not subside
