... Good point... I think we train for this stuff, in the sense it becomes easier with practice. Used to stare out at the garden in order to get lines, now I can be scrunched up on bathroom floor under heat lamps! ( chicken incubating)

Yeah, I guess you're right... After 7 ga-zillion poems, essays, term papers, essay tests, college essays, and whatnot, we ought to be able to write without getting warmed up (or overheated)... Though now that I think of it, my best 'warm-up' is to relax, think pleasant thoughts, and maybe stroll outside for a bit. I guess that counts. Thanks for the your insight, Sigrid!
