Warm Yourself Twice

If you’re looking for the easy way,
Simply look to yesterday,
Because life gets harder,
The longer you stay,
Through triumph over life’s daily struggle,
One can discern,
Its peace, happiness and contentment,
That one can earn,
To this ambivalent philosophy
Acceptance will suffice,
If you chop your own firewood,
You’ll warm yourself twice.
