Warm Day In Spring

A Warm day in Spring
David J Walker

I’ve heard the song sung in the
Practicing choirs of my dreams
Anticipating the change of seasons
Where the ripe fruit falls in
The dry river bed
It’s seeds freed to ride the breeze
And my dust blends with
Mother earth
Then am I my part of the wind
That you will hear singing
On a warm day in the Spring
