War On War
Trailing to the truth of the lips, the tears rest easily on them.
Promising never to leave the sight of a smile, realizing a lie is possible.
To have is to hold only if you get, only if you keep.
Walk away, turning your back, it doesn’t count now. Is this how you really are?
A confession changes the view of a world in the eyes of the blind.
Speak with your thoughts, not the feelings of the used.
A cry of the unborn empties the deaf of any life.
A sliver of happiness could barely afford the world.
Brittle bones pick at the dirt of the unnecessary struggle.
Destroying any sign of hope seems to be the goal.
Accomplishing it is all too easy.
Gaining access to today’s society requires a gun and a promise to die.
A life to waste is to only gain killings for the hurt.
The importance of a human life means nothing in the eyes of the supporters.
Throwing away any chance of debating murder.
Shipping our flesh and blood, tearing them apart and left to bleed.
The speakers blare, “I am your ‘god’ and you will have no choices of your own.”
The state of mind now has proven insanity.
Producing a massive pile up, only the guilty will smell the rotting flesh of the innocent.
Friendship is now the worst enemy formed by the bloody oil in your heart.
Prepare yourself for the biggest suicide ever created on earth.
For there seems to be no reasoning with the exploding bombs.
I will not shout, “Hooray!” for the judgers.
I will not accept a hanger as an excuse for your “perfect” life.
I will spill the oil at your feet and call it all quits.
You will not have me at your mercy, begging for forgiveness.
I will not be responsible for killing sprees you command.
You will not have me wrapped around your finger as your puppet.
Your proposals will not trick me or conquer my heart.
I am not on your side nor will I commit myself to your offers.
You are not honored in my eyes or that of a child’s.
You are not a role model, you are not a miracle, you are not my leader.
