War On the Inside

Darkness weakens,
the slight flicker of light,
that is my life.

Hopelessness encloses,
all I have,
in this broken soul.

The Blade Sharpens It's self,
On This Cold Body
Which is me.

And Blood Flows.
Rivers of it.
Staining The place of which I sit.
Absorbing the tears I cry.
Holding hostage,
All that is feeling,
inside this ice cold heart of mine.

Visions Flash,
before these eyes.
These eyes that have seen something terrible.

Thoughts race.
About my mind.
Thoughts that I wish to forget.

And I lose,
this long fought battle.
As I have lost myself in the fight.
Even though I myself,
am not a warrior.

Dont lose hope, you can still make a comeback to win the battle, don't let pain rule yur life jackie. A good write about your life though, that is what a poet does, writing down what you feel
