War of Me versus Universe

For long I lived a life far from whole— Of me and just my soul, Not one together with all else, Individual, and not what spiritually spells, A life that took its toll. I once fought a self-imposed curse, A war— me versus universe, Alone to take off to my goal, And walked along with me all, Together one walks better, never worse. Ere I thought, me alone is quite enough, And yet, a journey ‘tis so tough, This world’s a web of awareness— A common ground of consciousness, And it called my blind-folded bluff. I knew: the rainfall on my town, By Sahara heat is sent down. __________________________________ Reflections |12.04.2024| self, spiritual
