“WAR”



we fight with the morning.
we fight with the bathroom.
we fight with the stove,
some of us the car.
we fight with the traffic.
we fight with the streets.
we fight with the price of 
gas.
we fight with the long hours.
we fight with the choice of 
lunch.
we fight with the rundown.
we fight with the punch out.
we fight with the walk in.
we fight with the sit down.
we fight with the choice of 
dinner.
we fight with the choice of 
smoke.
we fight with the drink.
we fight with the choice of 
male or female.
we fight with the anger.
we fight with the heartache.
we fight with the demons.
we fight with the devil.
we fight with God.
we fight with our choice of 
bed time.
we fight with our insomnia.
we fight with masturbation.
we fight with all five stages 
of sleep.
we fight with sexual desire
but we never fight for our 
personal change.
