WaR

      Global tensions are starting to increase
      We have been warned many times before
      Though will there intensions ever cease
      But this time l wonder how long it is for?
      
      Nothing has ever been long term lease!
      When still the" rich taking from the poor"
      Missiles! in the atmosphere they release
      Think all the damage to the earths core;

    There's hostages still awaiting their release
    Soldiers all over it seems now on their tore!
    And there supposed duty? to bring peace
    Are we not just fighting a never ending war ?

An eye opening, and well written and rhymed piece, David. Filled with wisdom! I'm surprised that more people haven't read and commented on this great poem...
