War


      Global tensions now starting to increase
      We have been warned many times before
     But though will there intensions ever cease
      And this time how long will it all last for
      
      Nothing has ever been long term lease
      Here still the rich taking from the poor
      Missiles in the atmosphere they release
      And all the damage to the earths core

    There are hostages still awaiting release
    Soldiers all over still they are on their tore
    And there supposed duty to bring peace
    But were just fighting a never ending war

There are so many things wrong with our world today and we've been taught to learn from our mistakes. Yet, we change nothing... An eye opening, and well written and rhymed piece, David. Filled with wisdom! I'm surprised that more people haven't read and commented on this great poem...
