War

An ugly darkness has fallen
While I sit silently
Shaking with fear
It's not that I'm a coward but
I wonder if I'll be
Discovered by the enemy
I have visions of being tortured
Bound, beaten and chain
Even met with death, as missiles
Explodes around me and
I begin to get flashbacks of
The family I left behind
I get sick to my stomach as
The smell of death
Circles all around me
